From the passenger seat of the Bugatti you can see a quick glimpse of my favorite leg of this whole Gumball rally. A group of 10 cars including a Maserati, 2 Lamborghini’s, a Mercedes SLR, and our Bentley. It was a super fun leg and we recorded the whole thing from on board cameras. So much more footage of this leg to come very soon!
Day 4 was a pretty long hike with two pit stops including the Caddy Ranch and a lunch at the Big Texas Steak Ranch. After those quick checkpoints the drivers headed south in Texas towards downtown Dallas, Texas. At the W Hotel we were treated to some A class service and a great party on the roof at Ghost Bar. Enjoy the content from Day 4.
Out 144fx.com Bentley got pulled over while Joey Redmond was driving today. Here is what went down, the cops luckily let us hop out and film the whole deal. The Bentley Boys all around cannot get a break this rally.
Buttsy is a famous drifting star in Ireland but right now he is just another Gumball 3000 member rallying down to Miami, Florida. He got pinched for speeding after leaving Las Vegas, Nevada and the cop promptly let him go for speeding.
Day 3 was a long section so most drivers got quite spread out through the day. The cops were out in full force kindly giving out tickets (including one to us) in both Arizona and New Mexico. This gallery has some new cars including the chrome Lamborghini and Vivid Racing’s Gold BMW 7 series! Don’t miss any of these shots.
Just down I-93 early in the morning before Kingpin, Arizona we saw Jasper and Yo from Rogue Status pulled over with a whole crew of guys working on the car. The roof that replaced the full glass roof isn’t staying in very well at speed so the guys pulled over at some random cafe to try and keep it from falling off again.
We rolled out of Las Vegas around 11am and popped into the Hoover Dam for a lunch at 12pm. Then after leaving the Hoover Dam it was straight shot to our resort in Sedona, Arizona. I-40 had some cops waiting for the Gumball crew but everyone cruised into Sedona, Arizona super safely. The resort waiting for us was an amazing drive and the place itself was impressive upon arrival. After anyone has spent a couple relaxing hours sleeping it appears they will all be packing up for an early drive to the Grand Canyon.
I was actually driving and Victor shot this clip of the black Bugatti Veyron cruising down the 515 with us towards the Hoover Damn. Check this thing out!
Day 1 is now complete which was a fairly small leg of 250 miles. We started at the Santa Monica Pier and made a swing through Orange County for the D1GP event. After leaving Orange County it was a straight dash up I-15 to Las Vegas, Nevada. We have some great photos of the Brabus Mercedes SL, purple Audi R8, the Bugatti’s and much much more!
The black Bugatti Veyron on Day 1 was one of the dozen cars pulled over before making it to checkpoint 1 at the HardRock Hotel in Las Vegas. He came flying by us in our 144FX.com Camo Bentley when the police were blocking the interstate too slow down traffic. This was about 15-20 miles outside of Primm, Nevada while we were still in California.
As Brett will tell us he got pulled over doing about 90mph but the cops were nice enough to let him go. He told us as well the car was a pretty comfortable ride for the 250 mile leg we drove yesterday. We will try and catch up with Brett and his team in the black Bugatti Veyron again before the trip is over.
