The guys at Luxury4Play really had a great time throwing their own marquee Cars and Coffee day. They have a thread full of cars you don’t really want to miss.
1964 Red Rolls Royce at Imperial Palace Auto Collection
Lancia Martin Martini Race Car at Imperial Palace Auto Collection
When your in Las Vegas, Nevada for a convention, booze filled weekend, or just a relaxing vacation you need to add the Imperial Palace Auto Collection to your list. In fact, visit the website for a free ticket you can even print off if your truly on a budget for your stay.
The Auto Collection sprawls a whole floor of the Imperial Palace parking deck that they sealed off and provided a proper setting for hundreds of classic cars. Most of the collection is for sale so if you hit it big at the roulette table then clearly this is where you should head before you lose it all. I have already been twice this year and some new cars have come in and cars have been sold and rotated out. With that being said you should really make sure you visit once a year I would say and it will be a whole new experience. Our photographer Ricky Cervantes snapped some photos inside the Auto Collection for you to enjoy.
On a mission to buy the best cupcakes in Los Angeles I wound up driving down Rodeo Drive due to my navigators lack of ability to get me on Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills due to it’s confusing nature. We swung down Rodeo Drive and spotted this gorgeous yet obnoxious yellow Rolls Royce.
After doing some homework it appears the car is owned by Iranian-American business owner Bijan Pakzad who owns a boutique on Rodeo. The store is available by appointment only and is known as the most expensive store in the world.
The Rolls Royce is a very popular luxury car of choice in the United Arab Emirates and who could blame anyone for choosing this huge machine? This white Rolls Royce above is seen exiting the one way street from the only seven star hotel in the world placed off the shore of Dubai. The Burj Al Arab stands off the shore looking like a huge sail and attracts some of the nicest cars in the world if you have some time to car spot.
Day 1 is now complete which was a fairly small leg of 250 miles. We started at the Santa Monica Pier and made a swing through Orange County for the D1GP event. After leaving Orange County it was a straight dash up I-15 to Las Vegas, Nevada. We have some great photos of the Brabus Mercedes SL, purple Audi R8, the Bugatti’s and much much more!
With the 2009 Gumball Rally just around the corner we have to relive some of the year’s past greatest moments. In this video from the 2006 European Rally you will find a camo Rolls Royce slam into a guardrail at full speed destroying the machine. A Ferrari Enzo spinning out and a Bentley flying off the side of the road. Get ready for a wild ride in 2009 as the drivers travel from Los Angeles to Miami.
I have seen some obnoxious and overdone Louis Vuitton vehicle collaborations in my time but this one takes the cake. John Jarasa, the editors of Heavy Hitters Magazine, posted this on his blog. Hopefully a new issue of Heavy Hitters will have some more shots of this Rolls Royce so we can really check out the wrap.
The boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather takes us on a tour of his car garage with like 7 random dudes standing around him for the whole video. For some reason he feels the need to put his name on the back of his cars which I somewhat find hilarious and you will see a clip of it within the video. He also uses this tour to talk smack on De La Hoya and various other people including all his haters. This video is amazing in some manner, that is for sure.
Floyd Mayweather’s Car Collection:
Maybach 62
Mercedes McLaren SLR
Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe
Limited Stretch Rolls Royce
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
It appears Rolls Royce just delivered a custom one off Phantom hardtop to a resident in the United Kingdom who requested it in gold. The car has a two tone scheme with gold on top and a black bottom along with gold center pieces in the wheels. A very interesting one off limited edition Rolls Royce. The only real shocker to this car in our book is that it’s not sitting in Dubai right now.
While it’s exciting to see one Rolls Royce Drophead coupe on occasion we find it’s always more exciting to find two of them at the same time. Our Flickr buddy Trasoworld Photography from France just slapped this up the other day and we had to share it. The shade of white on the right Rolls Royce looks just a tad better than the other as well.
